Description
Powerplay Manager Hockey is an online web-based ice hockey manager game where you take care of your own ice hockey team, grow up your own players, setup tactics for matches and lead them to glory. The creators took inspiration from other hockey manager games around the internet, and picked the best features and aspects of them, to provide best possible hockey experience to you. Most important aspect of the game is well designed game economy, which does not allow good teams to have big advantage over smaller but well managed teams without any extra effort. It is not easy to become successfull and you need to use all your intelligence and managerial skills to stay on top. The games are played every day - 3 league matches, 1 national cup match and 1 international cup match per week, and for every day when you don\'t have a competitive match, you can challenge any team for a friendly. Hockey is first from the list of sports planned to be launched as a part of Powerplay Manager project.
To start playing you only need a computer with internet connection and of course a browser.
Powerplay Manager (the name originates from the ice-hockey term Powerplay) is an online manager game from Slovakia, currently available in 35 languages. The project was oficially announced by the creators in March 2007 and the registration process started in June 2007 with the first version of the manager account. The project is not made by the professional team but the interest of the internet community is huge. Although the beta version of the first planned sport - ice hockey was not launched yet (planned in May 2008), there were more then 35 000 registrated managers in February 2008.
Like the most of the other sport manager games like for example (Hattrick, managers will receive a team with the goal to climb to the highest division. To succeed in this goal, they have to buy players at the transfer market, to scout new talents, to find team sponsors and so on.
PowerPlay Manager will be a collection of the online manager games in different sports: soccer, formula 1, tennis, basketball, baseball, volleyball, biathlon, handball and especially ice hockey.
Price
Powerplay Manager Hockey is absolutelly free to play, but you can purchase credits which can be used to activate Pro Pack and some extra features which of course does not influence your team\'s performance. Pro Pack is a collection of many features like team logo, jerseys, upgraded statistics and many others.

Need live at least 2D(like managerzone), Optimal 3D.
PPM seems very awkward and clunky just very tough to get my head wrapped around.
The only downside to WSH is it is not free. But with having to pay there are more active managers in WSH so I guess it has an upside and downside.
Definitely worth the money to go with WSH for active managers, but if you plan on just checking your team whenever and not paying much attention PPM is the way to go.
You can't know if the odds were for you or you managed well.
Think the engine is not so good.
The forums are awfull too. Especially the moderators on romanian forum are awfull.
anyway ppm has upgraded its much better now than in the older version
1) Too much random...Come on, I wanna win the league and my team is the best in the league. So? My team lost 10 games ( 42 games in the league ). And this was randoms fault.
2) PPM bosses are idiots. Their greed was KILLED this game. PPM potential isn't bad, but tuttle,was able to ruined the potential. lubosko ( stupid supervisor ) banned my friend for ''truth posts''. The moders can't take the criticism and do not doing anything about PPM. The Tennis Duel (PPM moders project) is the FAIL!
3) Awful design. I'm laughing from these 4 fingers water-head mascots. The navigation is inconvenient+players profile is the big FAIL!
PPM was the good-potential game, but this potential wasn't realized.
