03.11.2022 - For once in Tom Brady’s lengthy glittering career, it appears the press is far more interested in the seven-time Super Bowl winner’s private life than his efforts on the field of play, and news of his impending divorce from wife Gisele Bundchen is driving a great deal of media coverage.

The latest speculation concerning Brady and Bundchen’s marriage problems relates to a proposed move to join the Miami Dolphins.
It’s believed that the Dolphins had reached out to Brady during his 40-day retirement period, and when that became clear a few weeks later, it angered Bundchen as she believed he was committing to the retirement that he had announced after the last season came to a close.
This rumor has been backed up by Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio, who claimed;
“There’s a theory in league circles, and I think I’m couching it properly, that the issues with Tom Brady and his wife blew up when the league announced the punishment of the Dolphins. Because of the flirtation with Brady. Because she had, as the theory goes, no idea, he was talking to the Dolphins.”
“I’m telling you, there are people who are employed by NFL teams who think that. And when you look at the timeline, that stuff came out. And it was the next day he started missing practices,” Florio added.
Brady was given an 11-day break during Tampa Bay’s training camp, and that was seen as a chance for the player to patch things up with Bundchen, but it seems the rot had already set in, and now the couple is set to divorce.
The divorce brings an end to their 13 years of marriage, and the couple has stated that the agreement is mutual, with Brady taking to social media to clarify matters;
"In recent days, my wife and I finalized our divorce from one another after 13 years of marriage. We arrived at this decision amicably, and with gratitude for the time we spent together. We are blessed with beautiful and wonderful children who will continue to be the center of our world in every way. We will continue to work together as parents to always ensure they receive the love and attention they deserve.”
Hopefully, with this latest announcement, things will settle for both parties and could also aid Tampa Bay’s push to improve. They are currently 3-5 and in desperate need of getting their season back on track, and Tom Brady is the type of character who is more than able to steer the team back in the right direction.
