Description

Pigskin Empire is an online multiplayer game based on American College and Pro football. Pigskin Empire is not your typical football MMORPG game, it allows you to create a coach and sign with any human coached team as a coordinator to start out and build your playbook. Pigskin Empire also allows you to use the plays you design in LIVE action, calling against other human run teams to try and become the best team in College or Pro football.

To get started choose from a variety of different coaches that fit the style you would like to portray, whether it be offense, defense, balanced, or a coach with better development to help make your young players stars, the choice is yours. You can then sign a contract, create plays, practice your plays, customize your gameplan, set up your depth charts, and more.

took way too long for a team to sign my coach...finally gave up.

This game had or has a lot of potential. Problem is there a lot of politics that go on and it ruined the game for me. For one there is a user who is a habitual cheat who constantly makes multiple accounts and has been caught more than once cheating and hasn't been banned, most likely because he pours money into the game. Second a person who has had an opportunity to see the game code and has made changes and even created game players is now a coach, on top of that he chose to be a coach on one of the most talented teams in the college game. Third the original developers have moved on from the game and work on a different game.

Great game. Takes a while to learn it and you need to get to know other players to coach with but once you do it is very rewarding. Nice, helpful community overall. By far the best free on-line game I've ever played. 5*

Great game with a lot of friendly players to help out the new players. Where else can you combine NCAA and Madden, then make your own plays and call them?

Another great feature is recruiting. High school players become college players, then pro. They can spend upwards of 20 seasons in the game, and bounce around several teams, managed by several users. It's fun to track a player so long. And, eventually, they are available as coaches.

It is a great game with great potential if a lot of work is put into it. However there are lots of issues, and whenever they r fixed, new issues always seem to appear. I hope that in the future they decide to tackle bigger issues for SRO than finding a new shade of green for chat...

Toxic community with dysfunctional administration. Frequent bugs and issues which are rarely fixed or addressed in any way. Feel silly for wasting time here.

My code is garbage, my customer service rivals that of satan himself and the only reason I keep it up is to fuel my jet ski's with money from idiots that keep paying to be abused. I try to force them away with increasing amounts of ugly green pages but they keep coming back.

Tons of improvements in the last year. Growing and active community. Best competitive football game with most interesting unique live play calling. Great game.
