Description
TopGM Online turns the classic basketball manager formula on its head: instead of reading match reports, you sit on the bench. Twice a week, at fixed tip-off times, your team takes the floor in a live 2D simulation and you coach it in real time against another human manager: changing offensive and defensive schemes, calling timeouts, rotating tired legs while fouls and injuries reshape the night. Under the hood the engine is deterministic, which means every match can be replayed later exactly as it happened, possession by possession, with no spoilers for coaches in distant timezones.
Around the matches lives a single persistent world with a full promotion and relegation pyramid. Every manager starts in the lowest divisions with a real inherited squad and climbs on merit. Player careers are complete arcs: teenagers appear on a street court where you scout them with your own eyes (no ratings are shown, and bids are sealed envelopes), grow through your academy with hidden talent your staff reveals week by week, develop through training and real playing minutes, then decline and retire while new generations replace them. Since this season, national teams matter too: three parallel World Cups (U18, U20 and Senior) run qualification cycles in authentic national kits, closing each season with a Finals Sunday.
The world narrates itself through a daily in-game newspaper and a social feed of generated art cards, and every one of the thousands of players has a unique pixel-art face. There are no energy bars, no boosters and nothing competitive for sale: the game is free, and the only purchase is a cosmetic supporter pass.

Free to play, forever. No pay-to-win of any kind: nothing that affects competition is for sale. The only purchase is the optional Club Pass ($39/year), which is purely cosmetic: custom crest, jersey patterns, home court paint and a founder badge.
