About Curveball

Curveball.gg is a free multiplayer baseball management game that runs in your web browser, on desktop or phone. You own a club, you make every call, and every game is played out live, one pitch at a time.

Found your club with a city, a nickname, colors, a crest and custom home and away uniforms, then take charge of a fresh roster of rookies. Set your batting order and defense on a drag-and-drop diamond, build a rotation, a bullpen and a closer group, and tell the Automanager how to run the game for you: when to pull a tired starter, when to bunt, when to steal and when to pinch hit. Pitchers tire inside a game and need real rest between starts, so handling your arms matters as much as stacking your lineup. In the Groundskeeper you shape your own ballpark: wall distances and heights, wall color, and night games under the lights.

Challenge another manager at The Grounds and the game streams live. Nothing skips ahead to a final score. The engine plays every pitch from your real lineup, with counts, platoon splits, baserunners who read the outfielder's arm, fielders who cover ground at their own speed, errors, the infield fly rule and pitcher fatigue. The new Grandstand view draws the whole game from the seats behind home plate: home run trots, leaping catches at the wall, walk-off pile-ups, the wave, beach balls in the crowd and a mascot race at the seventh-inning stretch. Anyone can watch any live game, follow the box score, and talk it over in Grounds Chat with the Grounds Announcer calling the finals.

Each real calendar month is a new season. Spring training lets you pick a development drill for every player. The regular season ranks clubs by a Season Rating that blends record, strength of schedule and quality of wins, and the top clubs head into a bracket with group rounds, byes for the top four, and best-of-three, best-of-five and best-of-seven series. Once a month, every club in the standings is also drawn into The Gauntlet, a random single-elimination bracket played out in an afternoon.

Grow your roster by opening player packs (green, blue, gold and rare purple cards), signing free agents, spinning the daily Roulette, or talking your way into a deal in the Speakeasy. Collect extra pack cards in your Shoebox toward a free pack. Complete daily, weekly and season challenges, unlock achievements (some of them secret), level your account badge through seventy levels, and grow your fan base to upgrade your club's collectible trading card.
